On Sunday, December 17 2023, our students, members of the 15-member Student Council as well as others, together with their parents and School teachers participated in the action entitled: Social Kitchen "The other person".  "The other man" is a self-managed group, a social solidarity initiative that started in 2011 from Athens. The groups of this initiative cook food in public places in Athens - but also all over Greece - and through volunteering and actions they offer food (12 million portions of food) all over Greece, all year long. They help and support people of all ages, nationalities, and social strata.

The action took place in the area of this social kitchen in Park Drakopoulou in Patisia. Our students helped us in the preparation of the food and the place. So, at one o'clock in the afternoon we were all together and distributed the boxes in which we had packed the food for our fellow human beings. Our students and their families, in addition to their valuable help, also donated many essentials in large quantities which will be distributed to fellow human beings in need. The expenses for the necessary food supplies were covered by our School.

The importance of volunteering, solidarity, and helping each other is now known to our students of all ages who once again gave their care and love.
