On Monday morning, December 18, a few days before the Christmas holidays, Grade 2 students had a healthy breakfast at their desks! As part of the PYP 'Who we are' unit, which we are working on this term and relates to our bodies, our second graders applied what they learned in the 3rd area of the unit on health and nutrition. They prepared, with the help of their family, and brought to class a balanced and complete breakfast that included products from the cereal, dairy and fruit and vegetable categories. Students thoroughly enjoyed themselves and continued their day with much needed energy!
