On August 28-29, 2023, Athens College, in collaboration with the educational organization EdYouFest, organized a conference for English language teachers at its premises in Psychico. The conference was attended by about 200 English teachers from Greece and all over the world.

Speakers from Athens College were the following English teachers:

• Nikoleta Kanelli, Director of Psychico College Junior High School, on the topic: Appreciating the English Language and Literature as a source of invaluable socio-historical information through inquiry-based learning
  
• Penny Basiakou, Head of the Athens College English Department, on the topic: 'Can you SEE the word?
  
• Elizabeth Laskari, Head of the Psychico College English Department, on Gatsbesia: Adding Critical Thinking, Creativity, and Active Learning to our Interdisciplinary Language & Literature Class
