Within the framework of the Athens College Regional Scholarship Program, for school year 2024-2025, scholarships will be awarded to students from various regions of Greece who will successfully take the first year of High School Entrance Examinations (Grade 10).

In addition, thanks to the generosity of sponsoring friends and members of the College family, the following will be awarded:

• one (1) scholarship for Lesvos
• one (1) scholarship for Psara
• one (1) scholarship for Samos
• one (1) scholarship for Volos or Skiathos or Crete
• one (1) scholarship for the South Aegean Region (with priority to Andros and Syros)

The scholarships cover 100% of the tuition fees, the cost of the purchase of school books and the use of the school bus. In case the family is unable to allow the scholarship holder to stay in Athens, an additional amount of up to €5,000 per year is foreseen to cover accommodation costs.

Application Requirements

The applicant must meet the following criteria:

• Distinction in the 2024 Entrance Examinations for the first year of High School (Grade 10)
• Documented financial need (submission of all required financial and other documentation to the Scholarship Office)
• "Exceptional" conduct

The Entrance Examinations will take place on Saturday, April 6, 2024 (8:30-13:30) at the College premises in Psychico.

For the participation of Regional Scholarship candidates in the Entrance Examinations, the College will cover the travel/residence expenses in Athens of students whose average i) annual grade point average of Grade 7, ii) annual grade point average of Grade 8, and iii) average grade point average of the first semester of the third year of Junior High School is at least 19. Travel/accommodation expenses will be covered for one chaperone.
