On Saturday, February 24, 2024, the Mathematical Competition "ARCHIMEDES" of the Hellenic Mathematical Society took place, with the participation of the students who succeeded in the Mathematical Competition "EUCLIDES".

Athens College High School 1 student Angelos Gkoritsas distinguished himself in the Competition by receiving the 3rd prize.

Due to his distinction, he qualified to participate in the Qualifying Competition for the Greek Olympic Team that will represent our country in the International and the Balkan Mathematical Olympiad. The Competition for the selection of the teams will take place in Athens on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 10:00, at the 2nd Model High School of Athens.

On Sunday, April 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., the award ceremony for the students who excelled in "ARCHIMEDES" will take place at a venue to be soon announced by the Hellenic Mathematical Society.
