Students Elissavet Tsoli, from Athens College High School 1, and Elena Dikaiou-Evangelatou, from Psyhico College Junior High 3, competed in the International Finals of the International Competition for Young Debaters 2024, which took place on Saturday, April 20 at the Oxford Union in the UK.

Our team qualified for the International Finals through the Greece Qualifying Round which took place in February of this year. In the International Finals, our students competed with teams from all over the world, including teams from England, India, Ireland, Canada, South Korea, and Scotland.

This Competition is open to students who are under 16 years old, and this year was organized by the debate team of the Oxford Union, giving our students the opportunity to debate in one of the oldest Debate Unions in the world, and one of the most historical buildings in Oxford, as well as to visit the University.
