F1 in Schools is one of the largest STEM competitions in the world, supported by Formula 1, the FIA (International Automobile Federation) and the Project Management Institute Educational Foundation.

F1 in Schools leads students to gain experiential knowledge and develop valuable skills (personal and professional) to pursue careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) related fields or even F1. In addition, students gain knowledge of Entrepreneurship & Innovation and learn to design and build a miniature Formula 1 race car. In this context, the Competition is child-friendly and seeks to promote "fair play".  Finally, its aim is to record a positive memory in the students who participate in the final challenge which can be a springboard for a creative future.

On Sunday, June 16, 2024 at 09:00 - 15:00, the track speed races of the Final Phase of the Panhellenic F1 in Schools Competition 2024 took place at the indoor gym of Bodossakeio in Kantza. 18 teams with 120 Elementary School children competed.  Our Elementary schools were represented by 4 teams, two from the Athens College and two from the Psychico College. The first place for the fastest car went to the Athens College Elementary team "Lauda Racing and Flaming 4 Racers".
