Psychico College Junior High School students distinguished in STEM IN PC Competition
Sep 22, 2024
Students of the STEM in PC afterschool activity of Psychico College Junior High School grades 2 & 3, took part in the ST3DM2024 competition on the topic "The public space we frequent (e.g. square, park, playground)", and were distinguished for their excellent work. Through these activities, our students developed their research, technology, and design skills.
The students had to study a space familiar to them. They investigated environmental, social or economic problems, i.e. problems of sustainable development. They tried to provide solutions to the problem they identified by designing the proposal that helps to solve it using CAD, Onshape and Solidworks software. One group proposed the creation of "All Around" that would generate electricity, while the other group proposed a feeder for stray cats that would contain automation to protect them.
We congratulate our students on their distinction!
