In the context of the European Day of Languages, which is celebrated every year on September 26, in order to promote the rich cultural diversity of Europe and intercultural understanding, students of Athens College Grade 5 German class implemented a joint action with the students of Psychico College Grade 6 German class. The students of both schools decorated the Tree of Peace, an olive tree, in the outdoor classroom of the Forest with concepts such as Solidarity, Peace, Equality, Freedom, Cooperation, Understanding etc. in German. The preparation was done in class, our students wrote the concepts on cardboards and drew different flags of European countries. The activity was aimed at understanding these important concepts, on which respect for different cultures is based, so that all peoples can live together in peace.

The activity enthused our students and encouraged them in their lifelong language learning inside and outside the School.
