On Friday, September 27, 2024, the athletic fields of Athens College and Psychico College Elementary Schools were filled with happy voices and colors as all the children took part in sports activities, dedicated to the 11th Panhellenic Day of School Sports, organized by the Department of Physical Education.

The younger children of the 1st and 2nd grade participated in a Run in the Forest, which took place through beautiful, marked paths (AC) and played many team games on the lawn (PC), while they attended talks in the forest outdoor theater (AC) and in the indoor gym (PC).

All the other classes of both schools had the opportunity to get to know, attend speeches and train with distinguished athletes and renowned coaches Yannis Bourousis, Kostas Telakis, and Apostolos Koutroulias in basketball, Saskia Hippe, Ilioni Kelesidou, Georgia Argyriou, Maria Gennitsaridi, and George Michalopoulos in volleyball, as well as with the members of the National Water Polo Team that participated in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, Ioanna Chydirioti and Alexandra Asimaki.
