On the weekend of November 23-24, 2024, the Athens College Special Programs organized a two-day educational trip to the Loutraki Sport Camp for students of 4th-6th Grade. The weekend was dedicated to "Paralympic Sports" and the 75 children who participated were informed through open discussions, interactive videos and movement/speech simulations. The children tried out sports such as Goalball, Sitting Volley, Running with a chaperone, Table Tennis, Seated Archery, Boccia, Seated Throwing etc. In addition, they participated in activities such as archery, climbing and track and field, team building and relay races.
