Psychico College Junior High School 3 students at the 9th European Student Conference in Munich

On November 25 to December 2, 2024, the 9th European Student Conference took place in Munich with the title: "Germany of the Greeks-Greece of the Germans. Classical Greece and its influence on German-speaking culture". Psychico College Junior High School 3 students who participated were the following: Aggelaki Lydia, Araniti Aliki, Zouzoula Elizabeth, Kondylis Nikolaos, Kotaridi Eva, Lazarakou Evita, Manzavinos Dimitris, Mili Anna, Michailidi Evelina, Dafou Christina, Douraki Nefeli, Papadopoulou-Kalogirou Eugenia.
The group of students, under the guidance of teachers An. Gialeli and M. Konstantinou, presented their project on the topic "Painting travels from Munich to Athens to meet 19th century literature". Their work was preceded by extensive research on the painting of the Munich School and 19th century Greek ethography. As a culmination of the work, student Nefeli Douraki created a study inspired by the work of Georgios Iakovidis, which she presented at the conference.
The above mentioned conference gave our students the opportunity to come in contact with students from other schools and to highlight the "dialogue" between painting and literature.
