On Thursday, November 7, 2024 the Athens College Junior High School Computational Thinking Club participated in the Bebras - Computing Challenge 2024. The Bebras - Computing Challenge is designed to help students explore their talents and passion for computational thinking. The challenges included are exciting and original, and no knowledge of a programming language is required to solve them.

The competition was attended by 8 students from Junior High School 1, 11 students from Junior High School 2 and 18 students from Junior High School 3. The winners among them were Ekaterini Matthaiou of JHS2 and Lampros Kateris of JHS3. The distinction is awarded to students who rank in the top 10% of the best scores nationwide.
