On Wednesday, November 27, 2024, 30 students of Athens College and Psychico College High School 1, teachers and members of the two Directions, visited the Gaston Thorn International School (EIGT) in Luxembourg, in the framework of the cooperation that has developed between our two high schools and the EIGT.

During the visit, issues of further strengthening the partnership between the schools were discussed and students participated in joint projects on democracy, which they presented to their classmates and teachers. Furthermore, students and teachers of our School gave interviews to members of the international school's radio station.

The study visit to Luxembourg was a great success, as our students also had the opportunity to visit places of great historical importance, such as the battlefields of Bastogne in Belgium (WWII) and the battlefields of Verdun in France (WWI).

The School's delegation was accompanied by Athens College Co-Director and High School Director Mr. Christos I. Konstantopoulos, the Psychico College High School Deputy Director Ms. Athanasia Anagnostou, Athens College High School teachers Mr. Alexandros Manaridis, Ms. Penny Basiacou and Psychico College High School teachers Ms. Margarita Gyftaki, Ms. Ariseta Katsarou.
