On Thursday, November 28, IB DP Year 2 students celebrated Thanksgiving with their teachers and DP staff. Student and teacher volunteers decorated CAPPS Hall and prepared a delicious spread of sweet and savory dishes, accompanied by music selected for the occasion. Athens College President, Professor S. N. Pollalis, kicked off the celebrations with a brief address. This was followed by remarks from Mrs. E. Vasileiou, the IB DP Head of School and IB Programmes Director, along with contributions from the IB DP Ambassadors Club students, who primarily organized the event.

Each student, faculty member, and staff member received envelopes containing personalized Thanksgiving messages during the celebration. The IB DP Ambassadors organized this initiative under the guidance of Mrs. C. Georgakopoulou and Mrs. E. Neiada.

This yearly celebration offers Year 2 students a unique chance to engage with their classmates, teachers, and staff, exchange good wishes, and build lasting memories.
