Athens College - Psychico College High School Student Communities support the School's Scholarship Program

Jan 21, 2025

During the month of December, the Athens College - Psychico College High School Student Communities engaged in solidarity activities, honoring the tradition of giving and volunteering of our School in order to support the Scholarship Program.

Initially, during the Christmas Bazaar 2024, the Athens College - Psychico College High School Student Communities in collaboration with the Direction of Social Welfare & Diversity presented an action within the framework of the BRING SCHOOL BOOKS BACK TO LIFE program. The action was an idea of students Leonidas Chaidemenos (AC), Stamatis Karatzas and Dimitris Saracakis (PC).

Through a wide range of interactive games made from recycled paper, visitors had the opportunity to "challenge their luck" and win prizes! Young and old alike, in a particularly festive - "green" environment, participated in games such as indoor basketball, Wheel of Fortune, Petanque, Book Stacking Challenge, etc. At the same time, visitors had the opportunity to travel through time through the innovative Paleoscope application using state-of-the-art virtual reality masks, courtesy of the Foundation of the Hellenic World.

Also, on the weekend of December 7 and 8, 2024, the Student Communities participated in the College's Bazaar, offering for sale anniversary pins, key chains, pens and "Stars of Wish" from the non-profit organization "Make A Wish".

Finally, on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, they jointly organized a Christmas buffet for a third consecutive year, offering a variety of delicacies to the College family. The proceeds of the above events were donated to support our School's Scholarship Program.

We would like to thank all members of the College community for their support and great participation in our activities!
