Athens College Teaching Conference
On Saturday, November 23, 2024, a workshop on "Teaching Proposals" was held at the Psychiko campus, in which over ninety Athens College teachers presented sixty innovative teaching proposals to the entire educational community of our School.
This educational event, held in the context of the Athens College Centennial celebrations, provided an opportunity for the exchange of good practices and discussion on issues of methodology, assessment, and teaching strategies applied in the classroom.
The keynote address was given at the Theater by Athens College President Professor Spiros N. Pollalis, followed by parallel sessions at the Theater and IC Hall. The conference closed with the conclusions of the session coordinators and the President.
The speeches were presented in thematic sessions: Greek Language, History and Social Sciences, Mathematics, Science, English Language, French Language, Computer Science, Arts, Physical Education, and Creative Thinking. Teachers had the opportunity to observe innovative teaching proposals implemented from Kindergarten through to High School and to gain an overall idea of the teaching process at all school levels.
The educational event was attended by members of the Board of Directors and the Hellenic-American Educational Foundation, and was organized by the Office of the President.
