On February 5-7, the “Explorers Club” conducted an educational visit in Karpenisi, where students participated in two educational programs, organized by the Environmental Education Center of Karpenisi:

1. “The high mountains”

2. “The water ways and their bridges”

These programs have been designed to offer experiential learning through: 

• Hiking and getting to know the flora and fauna of the area
• References to historical details, local myths and traditions
• Observing natural sounds and understanding human intervention in nature
• Outdoor games and activities to get to know the forest ecosystem
• Observing nature, conducting measurements and collecting biomarkers from the river

The visit aimed to encourage environmental awareness, cultivate cooperation and teamwork and offer a unique learning experience to the students.
