
Athens College Junior High School - Educational Trip to Naples - International Greek Language Day
On the occasion of International Greek Language Day, celebrated annually by the Greek Community of Naples and Professor J. Korinthios, a group of 19 Athens College Junior High School students, accompanied by teachers P.Kostala and E. Geronikolou, visited Naples, Italy, from February 8 to 12, 2025, to take part in the celebrations.
The group successfully presented their project "Friendship in Homer, Aristotle and Euripides" in the event organized on Monday, February 10, 2025, in the church of San Giovanni Maggiore.
During their educational trip, the group visited Paestum, Pompei and Ercolano, and walked around picturesque Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi and Cava de' Tirreni. In Naples, students admired the magnificent sculptures of San Severo, and discovered the city's beauty, majestic buildings and quaint alleys in their walks.
