On Thursday, February 13, 2025, students of the Athens College Junior High School "Living in the Mediterranean - Land of the Olive Tree" Club paid an educational visit to the Basel & Elise Goulandris Foundation. During the visit, students participated in an educational program on the artistic movements of the 19th and 20th centuries that combined the light, colors and nature of the Mediterranean and focused on the work of Vincent van Gogh "Harvest of the Olive", as well as the works of Cézanne and other painters of this period. Students had the opportunity to bring their own questions and opinions to the art world and to understand the interaction between the natural environment and human artistic creation and expression.
