On Monday, January 27, 2025, students of the Psychico College High School 3f section visited the Blocks Rehab Filoktitis Rehabilitation & Recovery Center.

Staff members of the Center presented the rehabilitation services they offer to adults and children, inpatients and outpatients, who suffer from diseases and injuries of the nervous, musculoskeletal and cardiovascular system, along with other disorders deriving from hospitalization, injury, or surgery. The students then received a tour of the Center premises. Physiatrists, physiotherapists and managers of all departments outlined the services offered, explained the multidimensional approach they follow to get the best possible rehabilitation results and answered all students' questions. 

In the Robotically Assisted Gait room, there was a presentation of the LOCOMAT robot, a technological achievement in the rehabilitation field. Teacher Gerasimos Pagoulatos, Director of Social Welfare and Diversity, actively participated in the presentation by stepping on the robot himself. During the session, Mr. Pagoulatos was describing his experience and answering any questions the students had. The students were particularly interested and participated by expressing meaningful questions and opinions.

The visit was carried out as part of an initiative by the Department of Social Welfare and Diversity, in collaboration with the Psychico College High School administration.
