Students of German from Athens College Elementary School Grades 3, 4 and 5, presented their theatrical performance on Friday, February 21, in the context of the School's Cultural Programs. The performance was inspired by the fairytales of the Brothers Grimm.

The Grimms' personal copies of their fairytales were added to the UNESCO list "Memory of the World" in 2005, while they themselves are considered pioneers of German folklore, having played a vital role in the study of German language and folk poetry.

The students brought three timeless fairytales alive on stage:
✨ Dornröschen - Sleeping Beauty
✨ Schneewittchen - Snow White
✨ Aschenputtel - Cinderella

All participating students worked in harmony, while also practicing their German speaking skills through the dialogues and enriching their knowledge on German folk tradition.
