The first round of the Interpretive Reading Competition was completed with great success, on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at HAEF facilities in Psychico. The Competition is jointly organized by Athens College High School and Psychico College High School, in collaboration with the 2nd Directorate of Secondary Education of Athens. Students of all grades from General and Vocational High Schools in Attica can participate. This year's theme was "Portrayals of mothers in modern Greek literature".

Thirty-five (35) public and private schools and ninety-nine (99) students from Attica honored the Competition with their presence, participating in the first round.

Students who received the highest scores and will take part in the second round of the Competition on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, are, in alphabetical order:
