
Participation of Athens College Junior High School Team in the 14th Session of the Platon School United Nations
Athens College Junior High School MUN team participated at the 14th session of the Platon School Model United Nations (PS_ MUN), which was held between Friday, March 7th to Sunday, March 9th, 2025 at the premises of Platon School in Athens. The theme of this year’s conference was ‘Confronting State Apathy’.
We participated with 3 delegations representing Mexico, Portugal and Rwanda. Our 15 delegates took part in General Assembly’s Committees (GA1, GA3, GA4, GA6) as well as in specialized committees such as ECO, G.20, UNIDC, CSTD.
The Honorable mention Award was given to Stefanos Dialetis representing Mexico in the Legal Committee (GA6).
The Best Delegate Award was given to Ermis Papadimitriou representing Rwanda in the Legal Committee (GA6).
Our delegates had the chance to meet other fellow delegates from Greece as well as Cyprus, Austria, USA, N.Macedonia, Zimbabwe, Israel, USA and Turkiye. They all voiced their opinions in a diplomatic manner familiarising themselves with the importance of United Nations.
