In celebration of the International Children's Book Day, Mr Chris Naylor Ballesteros, children’s book writer and illustrator, visited the Charalampos Vellis Kindergarten Library on Thursday, April 3rd, 2025. Students had the opportunity to meet the writer, and listen to him narrate parts of some all-time favorites like The Suitcase and Frank and Burt.
Mr. Ballesteros also sketched some characters, told the children about his books, including how he gets his inspiration and answered their questions in English, as they were practicing communication skills.
This event was coordinated by the kindergarten library and Dioptra Publications.
