
Athens College High School students visit the Hellenic Parliament

On Monday, April 7, 2025 students from Athens College High School participating in the "Youth Parliament" program visited the Hellenic Parliament. The students were given a guided tour of the Plenary Chamber and other key areas of the building. They also learned more about the history, structure, and functions of the Hellenic Parliament.
During the visit, the students met 1st Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Mr. Ioannis Plakiotakis. They engaged in a brief conversation with him, during which they asked questions about politics and parliamentarianism in Greece.
The participating students were E. Chamarakis, I. Georgopoulos, G.-M. Georgousi, E. Gerolymatou, Z. Kamarinopoulou, C. Panagopoulou-Koromantzou, A. Perou, and A.-M. Sybura, from High School 1, and D. Serepas from High School 2.
They were accompanied by Mr. Nikistratos Palantzas, supervising teacher for the "Youth Parliament" program.
