Adoption of Agia Marina Beach, Porto Rafti 
as part of the Marine Litter Monitoring Program
(HELMEPA)

 

On Friday, April 4, 2025, the Environmental Club of  Athens College High School carried out a voluntary beach clean-up as part of the Club's Environmental Actions.

The action took place at the beach of Agia Marina in Porto Rafti, which our School has "adopted", under the Marine Litter Monitoring Program, coordinated by the Hellenic Marine Environment Protection Association (HELMEPA).

Students participated with enthusiasm, gaining firsthand insight into the impact of marine and coastal pollution. Through their effort, they not only contributed to the protection and preservation of the natural environment but also helped raise awareness within both the local and broader College community.
