95th Annual Track & Field Meets - Delteia 2025

The 95th Track & Field Meets "Delteia 2025" were held on Thursday, April 3, 2025, in honor of Stephanos Delta, the founding father of the College. The students' percussion band marked the beginning of the opening ceremony, setting a festive tone.

 The ceremony featured a parade that included all students who qualified for the final round of the Meets, members of the “A” Association, and performers from the artistic presentation “Citius – Altius – Fortius”. We were honored by the presence of the Psychico - Filothei Municipality Philarmonic, which joined the parade.

 Following the flag-raising ceremony, the National Anthem, and a wreath-laying in memory of Stephanos Delta, Mr. Alexis Phylactopoulos, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic-American Educational Foundation, delivered a historical overview of the Delteia and officially declared the games open. As part of the celebration of the school’s 100 years sporting legacy, demonstration races in the in 110m. hurdles and 100m. sprint were held, featuring alumni who are active athletes - some of whom are members of National Teams. A photography exhibition was also showcased, presenting archival images of the College's athletics competitions from 1940 to the present.

The Delteia were attended by students from the Junior High Schools and High Schools, along with parents and friends of the College, who enthusiastically followed the inter-grade competition for the highest Overall Score. The winning grade was High School 2, with a total of 137 points.

The best performance among the male students was by student Dimosthenis Rigos-Efraimoglou, for his time of 50"61 in the 400m (831 points), and among the female students, Nelly Flutakou, for her time of 56"01 in the 400m (992 points).
