On Wednesday, April 9, 2025, the 19th Elementary School Swimming Meets, held in memory of Athinoula Martinou, took place at the Athinoula Martinou Swimming Center.

Before the start of the events, Director/President Spiros Pollalis presented a commemorative plaque to students who achieved new swimming records during the 2024-2025 academic year.

He also honored Maria Alzigkouzi, an alumna of Athens College Elementary School and athlete of the Greek National Artistic Swimming Team, with a commemorative plaque, and officially declared the games open.

As part of the School's 100th anniversary celebrations, and prior to the start of the competitions, M. Alzigkouzi performed an outstanding artistic swimming routine.

During the races, one new class record was set:

• 50 m. Breaststroke - Aggelos Kypraios, Psychico College Elementary School Grade 5, 42"74
  

In recognition of their achievements in this year's interschool swimming meets, one student from Athens College Elementary School and two students from Psychico College Elementary School were awarded for setting new records.
