Drama Club of Psychico College Junior High Participates in Two-Day Ministry of Education Theater Festival
The Drama Club of Psychico College Junior High School took part in the two-day workshop on school theater arts that the Ministry of Education organized online. The “Online Student Festival,” titled “With a Theater Backpack,” took place on June 11 & 12, 2021 during which the members of the club presented their work in a mature fashion and talked about their experiences from participating in this activity.
Specifically, the Drama Club presented an adaptation of Luigi Pirandello’s play “Six Characters in Search of an Author." The students improvised and wrote their own text. This resulted in a production of the work in radio format. The meetings were held through the MS Teams platform, as were the recordings. At the same time, they also recorded and presented “Cyclops,” the only surviving satyr-drama by Euripides.
Congratulations to their coordinator, Mr. Ch. Galitis, and the
members of the Drama Club:
Antonis Gaitanis, Dimitris Konstantinidis, Olga Liveriou, Maria
Michelaki, Danai Mpolioti, Aristomenis Pantelopoulos, Lamprini Papachristodoulou,
Niki Passa, Avgi Stavropoulou and Faidra Valetta.
