Christiana Panagopoulou-Koromantzou, Athens College Junior High School Grade 1 student, received an important distinction in the 8th International Poetry Competition “Castello di Duino 2022”. The competition is addressed to young people, up to 30 years old, and is considered as one of the most important poetry competitions for young writers.

The student’s poem “Nostalgia of a time I have not lived” received a special mention in the category “Poesie del cuore / Poems of the heart”.

The award ceremony will take place in Trieste, on March 20, 2022.
