Athens College Junior High School - 4th Research and Science Student Conference
On November 22-24, 2024, students of the Athens College Junior High School Physical Thinking Group participated in the 4th Research and Science Student Conference. The aim of the conference was to simulate a Science Conference, to encourage students in writing a comprehensive research paper, to promote the cooperation of school units with Universities, Research Centers and Research Institutes, to contribute to the dissemination of new scientific knowledge in secondary education, to support the diffusion of scientific knowledge mediated by the school to wider sections of society, thus highlighting the role of the modern school.
Students presented in groups, either in person or through posters, their scientific projects on applications of physics and science in sport. Our school was represented by a total of seven (7) groups of students, six (6) through poster presentation and one (1) in person.
