Athens College Junior High School 3 student Evangelos Kourtidis, member of the Greek Rhetoric Club, was distinguished in the «Τις αγορεύειν βούλεται» Public Speaking Competition by composing a speech on the topic "The restoration of Democracy gave birth to the responsibility of cultivating democratic morals for the next generations".

The student, together with students from other participant schools, delivered his speech in an open event on democracy held at Technopolis in Gazi, on February 8, 2025. He participated in a discussion with official guests and worked in groups to write a manifesto on how young people dream of modern democracy.
