Students of Psychiko College Junior High School qualify for the national final of the EU-CONEXUS International Contest

The team of Psychiko College Junior High School qualified for the national final of the 5th edition of the EU-CONEXUS School Contest "Think Smart, Create Green" for the 14-17 age category. The final will take place on Wednesday, March 19, at the Agricultural University of Athens.
The Psychiko College Junior High School team consists of the following Junior High School 3 students of the Entrepreneurship Club: Lydia Angelaki, Aliki Araniti, Danai Aravosi, and Zanet Veracha. With the guidance of the supervising teacher, Ms. Angeliki Zoupa, the students created a business that aspires, through sensors and AI technology, to provide solutions to three major problems in our country, (1) road traffic, (2) traffic accidents and (3) air pollution.
This year, 107 students from 15 schools in Greece participated in the contest. The contest is organized by the European University for Smart Urban Coastal Sustainability EU-CONEXUS and encourages students to think critically and creatively about sustainable development, circular economy and smart city technologies.
