Psychico College Junior High School team wins 1st place in EU-CONEXUS National Final

The Psychico College Junior High School team won 1st place in the National Final of the 5th EU-CONEXUS School Contest “Think Smart, Create Green”, held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 . With this performance, the team has qualified for the International Final, which will be held online on Thursday, April 10, 2025.
The team of Psychico College Junior High School is composed of Grade 3 students from the Youth Entrepreneurship Club: Lydia Angelaki, Aliki Araniti, Danai Aravosi, and Zanet Veracha. Under the guidance of their supervising teacher, Ms. Angeliki Zoupa, the students developed a business that aims to install a package of 50 sensors in vehicles, enabling a mobile application that offers services such as vehicle registration, search and rental. The initiative seeks to transform urban transportation, offering a smart solution to Athens' traffic challenges with the use of artificial intelligence and advanced sensor technology, contributing to more sustainable mobility solutions.
The competition is organized by the European University for Smart Urban Coastal Sustainability EU-CONEXUS, and encourages students to think critically and creatively about sustainable development, the circular economy and smart city technologies.
