Cooperation between Athens College Junior High School and the Sikiarideion Foundation

Continuing its tradition of giving, inclusion, and social responsibility, the Student Community of Athens College Junior High School organized an event in collaboration with the Sikiarideion Foundation - a Day Care Center supporting young people aged 14 and over with intellectual disabilities and pervasive developmental disorders - and the "Dagipolis" dance group.
On Tuesday, April 8, students from the Sikiarideion Foundation visited our School. Members of the 15-member Student Council offered them a guided tour of the campus. The visit included an outdoor picnic near the School Church, followed by a special dance performance by "Dagipolis", attended together with students from Junior High School 3.
Finally, our School donated educational materials to the students of the Sikiarideion Foundation.
