Apr 14, 2025
On April 7, 2025, students from two sections of the German Department of Athens College Junior High School 2 participated in a series of educational activities:

They visited the Numismatic Museum, where they participated in an educational program led by Ms. Naki. Students presented their work and explored the deep connections between coins, history, and culture. During the visit, they also learned about Ernst Ziller, one of the most important 19th-century architects in Greece, whose influence shaped much of Athens' architectural character, including the museum itself.

At the Goethe-Institut, they joined the interactive workshop "Youth take action! Get involved!", focusing on sustainability and ecological awareness. Through quizzes and poster-making, students discovered practical ways to adopt a more sustainable lifestyle.

The visit concluded with a tour of the Goethe-Institut's facilities and a tasting of German delicacies, offering students a delightful cultural experience in an inspiring environment.
