International Children’s Book Day is a day that fosters an appreciation for reading. It is celebrated on April 2 which is Hans Christian Andersen’s birthday. English teachers at J.M. Carras Kindergarten celebrated this special day by putting on a theatrical show inspired by Eric Carle’s story The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
