As part of their inquiry into the transdisciplinary unit How the World Works, kindergarten students of J. M. Carras-Athens College visited the Takis Foundation-Research Center for the Arts and Sciences. They participated in an educational program entitled “Who is MagneTakis?” where they experimented with magnets and learned more about magnetism and how essential it can be for daily life. Students also discovered how the famous artist utilized magnetic fields into producing works of art that promote sustainability. It was a unique experience for both students and teachers.
