As part of their inquiry into the transdisciplinary unit How the World Works, with the central idea “Experiments help us discover and understand the world around us”, kindergarten students welcomed Ms Alexandra Athanasiadi, artist/ sculptor, on Thursday, February 6th. The famous artist/ sculptor helped students understand how various materials can be transformed into works of art. Students explored various materials, learned about their properties and were encouraged to express themselves artistically by using them to create works of art.
