Information on personal data processing: The information you provide will be used by the organizer for communication about the seminars/courses you wish to attend (changes or updates). Your status (staff/parent /other) is requested to check your ability to attend the course. Your specialization and years of service help us organize the seminar and its content. Your home address may be used by the organiser to send you printed certificates of attendance. The basis for processing your data is your application/registration form for attending the course (Article 6.1.b GDPR). Your data will be processed for the course purposes of the course, after the completion of which they will be deleted securely unless you are connected with the organizer with another relationship (employee, parent) according to which another processing basis applies to your data. Use of a platform for distance or hybrid lessons: Our courses (in the case of distance or hybrid attendance) are conducted through ZOOM. Information about the operation of the platform and data processing is available here. Before the lesson, you will be sent a special link and password to enter the platform (the link may not be shared on social media or the internet). When using the platform, you will be asked to state the name under which you wish to appear in the online course and during the course, your image and sound will be in use. Please note that you have the option to set the use of a camera or microphone yourself (on / off). Regarding the Certificates of Attendance, in the online participation of the course and for the organizer to verify your participation, prerequisites are participation with an open camera and staying online for at least 50% of the duration of the course. (if you wish to receive the relevant certificate). When using the platform, all participants must comply with the rules for an online presentation to run smoothly.
Minutes keeping – recording: During the course, the organizer may take screenshots, which may be included in a tribute to the courses held, on the Athens College website (www.athenscollege.edu.gr) and in internal publications (student journals, annual reports, newsletters). It is of course emphasized that participants can turn off their cameras. In addition, if the instructor has given permission, the lesson can be recorded electronically to be kept in the archive and electronic repository of the Athens College for educational purposes.
