The 14^th annual “Athanasiadeia”, Athens College – Psychico College Elementary Schools’ Track & Field Competitions in memory of Alexander Athanasiadis, were held on Thursday, June 4, 2015. During the ceremonial part of the event, all the students who participated in the competitions paraded to the accompaniment of the Hellenic Police Band.  After the Raising of the Flag and the National Anthem, Konstantinos Kanonis, member of HAEF’s Board of Directors, declared the opening of the games.

Commemorative plaquettes were awarded to the Athens College – Psychico College Elementary School students who achieved new class records during the In-House and the A.S.I.S track & field competitions, as well as those who broke records during Athanasiadeia 2015.

Two hundred fifty one (251) students in grades 4 to 6 took part in the competitions.

Three (3) new Athanasiadeia records were set and nine (9) class records.
