14th Annual Elementary Schools’ Swim Meets
The 14th Annual Elementary Schools’ Swim Meets, in memory of Athinoula Martinou, took place on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the “Athinoula Martinou” Swimming Center. Ms. Titina Daskalaki-Vasileiou, a member of the HAEF Board of Directors, declared the games open.
The competitions which were a huge success were attended by members of the HAEF Association, Schools’ Administrations and a great number of parents.
Eight new swimming records were set during the meets in the following events:
- 25m freestyle, Chrysanthi Doxiadi, A.C. 6th grade, 14”51
- 25m breaststroke, Emmanuil Alevras, P.C. 6th grade, 18”11, which is also a new class record
- 25m breaststroke, Anastasia Stathaki, A.C. 5th grade, 18”56, which is also a new class record
- 25m backstroke, Niki-Patricia Piovan, A.C. 6th grade, Α., 16”49, which is also a new class record
- 25m butterfly, Aggeliki Smyrniou, A.C. 6th grade, 14”22, which is also a new class record
- 50m freestyle, Marina Alexandratou, A.C. 6th grade, 30”97
- 50m backstroke, Antonios Dimitriadis, A.C. 6th grade, 35”82
- 4Χ25m freestyle, Chrysanthi Doxiadi, Maria Foteinaki, Niki-Patricia Piovan Aggeliki Smyrniou, A.C. 6th grade section 6στ, 01’00’’48, which is also a new class record
and 2 new class records in the following events:
- 25m freestyle, Michail-Theodoros Andrianopoulos, A.C. 3rd grade, 16”58
- 50m breaststroke, Ioannis Mpochlogyros, P.C. 5th grade, 46”47
Twelve Athens College – Psychico College Elementary School students were awarded for their performances during the in-house class meets in swimming.
