On Thursday, November 21, 2024, Special Olympics Hellas in collaboration with the Directions of the Athens College and Psychico College Junior High Schools, the Department of Physical Education and the "A" Association organized 3x3 Unified basketball games, of mixed teams, at the Angelikousseio Gymnasium and Chandreion Athletic Center in Psychico. These basketball games are part of the “Play Unified:Learn Unified” educational program, which is approved by the Greek Ministry of Education.

The event was organized during the 19th European Special Olympics Basketball Week with the participation of athletes from Special Olympics Hellas, students from institutions of Agios Dimitrios, Pireaus, Agia Paraskevi, pupils of the "STORGI" Creative Activity and Study Center as well as students of Athens College and Psychico College Junior High School 3. 

Ms. Vasiliki Tla, Athens College Junior High School Director and Ms. Nikoleta Kanelli, Psychico College Junior High School Director attended the event. On behalf of the Special Olympics Hellas, President Ambassador Dionysis Kodellas, Vice President Andreas Kalligas, Director Artemis Vamvakopoulou and Director of the "Play Unified:Learn Unified" Educational Program Natalia Andrianopoulou were also in attendance.  

The contribution of members of the Athens College “A” Association as well as volunteers of the Special Olympics Hellas in organizing this event was crucial. 

The program was attended by Athens College and Psychico College Junior High School 3 students.
